Thread Closed CUSTOMERS WHO WANT HELP - Please, read before posting

  • cyclist Moderator Wednesday, February 24, 2010 10:58 AM Reply
Just a few simple rules and advice, only some or possibly all could apply to you.

LOOK AROUND THE FORUM BEFORE POSTING AND SEE IF YOUR QUESTION IS ANSWERED BY ANOTHER POST.

The sticky threads are there for a reason, please read them.

Please post in English, or translate into English too or your post will be removed.
The only exception is the Español & Português Forum.-101

New customers should read this to get an idea of how DX works -
    Forum.-100~threadid.264959

Make sure you have created your Account with your Paypal email address. By doing so, you'll see your Orders and DX Points there.

DONT POST IN OTHER PEOPLES THREADS IF YOU WANT HELP.
It's not fair on the original poster, if people start asking for help in their threads.
Make your own thread and stay in it.

Unsure where to post, read this - http://club.dealextreme.com/forums/Forums.dx/threadid.911639Forum.-208~threadid.652135

Give information about what your problem is, and include your order number and sku number/s (item number).
If you have opened a ticket then include dates and so on from the conversation.
Before making a thread you should always have a look at the FAQ: Forum.-202~threadid.280417~no.paging#280420

If your problem is concerning a defective item, please ask on the items own forum first before making a ticket, as a lot of the time, it can be resolved by other customers help.
That will be the first reply you'll get from CSE anyway, is to check/ask on the forum, and if you've done that and nobody can help, then say that in the ticket when you first make it.

If you need to contact DX, you have to use CSE - http://support.dealextreme.com/

Please think about why you're opening the ticket, and if you could get the answer by asking on the forum.
Do not open a ticket just to ask why your order hasn't shipped after two days from ordering, as all it does is slow down the responses for people who contact CSE for a real reason.
Replies could take around 7 working days, don't close your ticket and open a new one, you'll just go back to the end of the queue.
If you're waiting for more than 7 working days for a reply, then start a new thread and we'll see what we can do to help you.

You can check here to see if your ticket has been updated - http://services.dealextreme.com/forms/viewresults.aspx?c=LOGIN

Live help is now up and running, but only during DX working hours - Forum.-201~threadid.732836

Starting a PayPal dispute, will only put your order on hold and DX will do nothing until it's closed.
Remember, you only get one chance for a PP dispute, don't abuse it!

Do not make threads about speeding up your order which you made a few days before.

And, now for the most important bit of information, 99.9999% off the people on this forum are customers (Including mods), and they help you in their own time. Don't be abusive/aggressive or type in capitals all the time if you want our help.
