j'ai acheté 4 R4 sdhc reçues rapidement.
J'ai testé la premiere qui a bien fonctionné(kernel 1.23 de mémoire) mais la seconde carte testée à fait cramé ma DS (encore sous garantie donc échangée en joueant les idiots face au vendeur)

Donc faite attention !
Ticket en cours avec vicky qui a répondue à mon premier post en 1 journée. (elle me demande de verifier si des solutions existent ds les forum de DX)
J'ai demandé le retour de la R4 cassée et des 2 autres non testée (je ne veux plus prendre le risque de recramer ma DS) pour un échange contre des EZ ou des DSTT(vu le nb de fausse j'hesite)

i have buy 4 R4 SDHC and test the first one wich work with kernel 1.23.
The second one tested have brick my DS (my DS was in period of garantie so i change it)
So be carreful !
I open a ticket (and vicky sent a response 1 day after, telling to me to see if solution exist to solve my problem in the DX forum), and demande the return of the bad one and also the return of the 2 R4 not tested yet (don't want to burn a ds again), or exchange by a DSTT(lot's of fake so a little bit affraid) or a EZ
telling you some news

firstly your english is a lot better than my french ;)

now these cheap r4 clones are known to be poorly made so i would say that you should ask for something else, dx are now checking each dstt so you should be able to buy those with some confidence, alternatively look at the acekard or edge or itouch as all those are better than the dstt.

R4=merde

Nice to see you'll get a replacement for your bricked DS.

But if this happen again after the warranty, it's just a fuse to change, it's cheap and easy to solder (almost).

I think i'll follow what mike explain to me, and demand to replace the 3 R4 by 3 edge, ace or itouch.

acekard = sku 16142 or sku 11811
itouch = sku 12296
edge = sku 10919


3 questions for all :
sku number i have find on DX website are all OK ?
no fake received by customer for those 3 items
all worked whith micro SDHC (i have 4gb micro SD card)

Yeah I posted a review, I got 10 units 1 didn't work so I asked for a replacement, 2 weeks later I got the replacement and when I went to test it it bricked my DS. Now my DS wouldn't even turn on. I even tried it in another DS and it bricked that one to. I've lost 2 DS Lite consoles because of this bad card.

its the fuse that will be blown, check wikipedia on how to repair.

it is caused by the card contacts shorting the pins on the ds because of bad build quality, same issue as the n4 (another r4 clone)
