    Let your government adopt our rules of payment for Public service Television and radio.

    If you have;
    a Radio(in car, in phone, in musicplayer, in house etc.)
    a television
    a cellphone
    a computer
    or an internetconnection

    You must pay to "our" Public Service station, DR. - Noone watches their tv-channels, noone listens to their radiochannels and noone visits their webpage(Offcourse someone does, but very very few!)

    They call it "Media license fee"

    You CAN'T avoid paying if you have any of the abovementioned items

    DR themselves estimates that 99,5% of the people have one or more of the abovementioned items, and therefore are you are bound by law to pay 200DKR(approx. 40US$) a month... - Oh and that is PER PERSON, even if you live with your brother, you boy/girlfriend or whatever!

    God I hate this countries once in a while!

    @LarsStryhn

    We have a similar tax here.But we pay it once we buy an electronical device such as radio or television.National Television gets % x of the fee.On televisions and radios.No monthly.Just when you buy the device

    People in Denmark would love that, that would mean that people actually not using their "services" can't go without paying their wages...

    At least some of us could...

    people in the UK have to pay a tv tax, even if they never watch tv only dvd!
    wouldn't it be fairer to just add a small charge on the item itself?

    @rosen, i suppose the government wants everyone even those who buy a used radio/tv to pay the tax!

    What would be fairer is if the channels were operated normally and not propped up by socalist ideas like this. We have it in NZ, but it comes from the general tax take to pay for second rate bands to make music videos etc (usually overseas since they get a holiday on the taxpayer)

    I bought the black Zune from here a few weeks ago and love it, though I would suggest buying a screen protector from somewhere at the same time as you buy this, it scratches very easily. If you want to remove the stickers from the bottom of the device, use GooGone.
