ezeqdb: Fair enough, I could not find a better deal that ships to Argentina. So I guess this is a pretty good deal for people who live in areas that can not get it from the places I am speaking about for cost effective rates.

sheepish: Well for my uses, yes strength is my primary concern as is the number of core yarns. However it is also that 550cord is a military spec, which helps insure its quality. 550 Cord (which is the most commonly used paracord) is considered by the US military to be type III parachute cord. Which is defined by its construction, it has 7 to 9 inner yarns and has a minimum breaking strength of 550lbs or 249kg. This rope does not appear to meet any of the defined US military types of paracord. Which is not to say its not another country's military cord, but I am not aware of any other military specifications for parachute cord. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parachute_cord for more info about types.

I had no intention of trolling or starting a large debate about its price and quality. Normally I would not post about anything related with price, I just have been waiting a really long time for paracord on DX. From what I can tell this looks like a decent priced cordage with a defined strength. If 140kg suites your needs, do not let me stop you from buying it. It simply does not meet my needs.

I had a look at that page earlier too, and thought it a bit strange that there wasn't anything listed at 140 kg.

Anyway, it's a start and it's good to see it listed, but I'm holding out for some 550.
    Remembering 30 years.
