I have copied the firmwares for this camera at the following link if you want to upgrade to the Latest Firmware 11.14.2.28 / 2.4.8.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9429009/foscam.zip

How to do it??? Its quite simple actually...

The cam will come with a very old fw.
DO NOT UPGRADE DIRECTLY to 11.14.2.28 / 2.4.8.15. It may BRICK yr camera.

What you need to do is to upgrade? Basically upgrade from Upgrade 1 to Final Upgrade.
Dont jump queue... Slowly upgrade step by step.

CMOS Web UI
11.14.1.42 2.4.8.11 < - Upgrade 1
11.14.1.46 2.4.8.12 < - Upgrade 2
11.14.2.17 2.4.8.14 < - Upgrade 3
11.14.2.28 2.4.8.15 < - Final Upgrade

ALWAYS UPGRADE the CMOS FW first then the WEB UI FW..
Dont use WIFI to do the upgrade.. USE CABLE!!!
For every upgrade, the camera will reboot.. Wait till it reboot finish then flash the next fw... Use the IPCAM utility which is also included in the zip file to detect if the camera is online.. DO NOT SELECT CMOS AND WEB UI FW Together to FLASH.. Flash one at a time... REMEMBER! ONE AT A TIME..

I have successful upgraded over 10 sets without any issue..

So enjoy! Do Email me at cheongking @ hotmail . com if you need any help..

Some Commands for the camera.

http://[ipcam]/set_misc.cgi?ptz_center_onstart=0
This will prevent the camera from rotating on reboot. You won't need to re-position the camera each time.

http://[ipcam]/set_misc.cgi?led_mode=0
This will turn off the green activity led instantly.
The valid values are as follow:
led_mode=0 - the green led blinks only once connected.
led_mode=1 - the green led blinks while searching for a connection and when connected.
led_mode=2 - the green led is always off.

http://[ipcam]/set_misc.cgi?ptz_auto_patrol_interval=30
This function is currently not implemented in the user interface and instructs the camera to start a patrol at a defined interval, here 30 seconds.
The patrol type is defined by this other command:
http://[ipcam]/set_misc.cgi?ptz_auto_patrol_type=1
Possible values: 0: None; 1: horizontal; 2: vertical; 3: Horizontal + Vertical

http://[ipcam]/set_misc.cgi?ptz_patrol_rate= 20
The value provided will defined how fast the camera will rotate on patrol, here 20 is the default.
Fastest speed = 0. Slowest speed = 100.

http://[ipcam]/get_misc.cgi
Returns all the current values for the functions above.

http://[ipcam]/get_log.cgi
Displays the visits log
