How to conect a TV and a PC without HDMI output.

    Dear all,
Do you know which is the best way to connect a LED TV (without internet connection) with a PC (with internet) in order to see online movies in the TV .
I have a LG LED TV model LW4500 with the following entries:
    - HDMI
    - RGB
    - RS-232C (control & service)
    - USB
    - AV Audio / Video
    - antenna
    - Y-Pb-Pr-Audiological AudioR

And the laptop has the following outputs:
    - RGB
    - audio
    - USB
    - IEEE 1394
    - SD/MMC - MS/Pro (card place)

I think there is only coincidence with RGB, but I don't know if the speed or transmission quality is better than using an adapter that allows using the IEEE 1394 output and the HDMI input (if this adapter exists), or if there is another adapter better.
Any information will be very useful.
    Tanks!

your only chance then is an vga to vga cable.

    that is all.

Leonardo, ok, thank you very much.
I was hoping to use the 1394 output because I understand is faster than the VGA, but it's okay, now I know I only can use the VGA port.
    Many thanks for your time!

@pbocco firewire is a data transfer protocol, not video

    VGA dont have a speed.

    you are mixing different concepts

    Saw this in DX:

SKU: 101049 USB 2.0 UGA Multi-Display DVI to VGA/HDMI Video Card Adapters (1920x1080 Max)

May be what you want if VGA does not do justice to your LED TV. You'll still need AUDIO cables though since the device output is DVI. DVI to HDMI adaptor is included.

It is also possible to use external graphics adapter that can be installed to usb and then you can connect it to hdmi. It may well make sense for you to buy a new computer with hdmi output.
