    In the past product requests were posted in the forums only.

    As a part of the June service improvements, a new product request process has been established.

    From now on, if there is something cool you want to see at DX, simply use this page to request it:

    http://dx.com/feedbacks/productrequest

    Instead of going through the forum and having to bump your posts once in a while for visibility, requests submitted using this new page directly go to DX procurement office. So your requests are guaranteed to be seen by staffs.

    Very soon, the progress of requests made by you will be displayed inside your DX account. Do you have something on your mind already? Give this new service a shot now.

    Quick notes regarding lockpicks, in China it is illegal to buy/sell lockpick tools without proper (locksmith) permits that's why we've been having a hard time looking for sources. But we are still looking. Fingers crossed.

    @VTGGMA, right now the plan is to get a personalized progress display of products requested by each customer. We'll consider implementing your suggestion after the initial trial period of the new product request system.

    THank you kyle so much for the reply about lockpicks!!! It has been bugging me because hundreds of people have supported the idea in the forums, and there are countless threads about them, but dx staff never said yes or no to them.
    A reply either way, is key. Thank you! Please keep trying for them!

    well, now to all those who asked for lockpicks, you know why dx has trouble getting them!
    and i agree, having a seperate product request will keep things tidier and stop constant bumping
    Resistance is futile-give in to DX gadget craving!
    also a voluntary mod-be nice please!

    I hope so, but I doubt it ...
    I think you will see new threads like this:

    'Do you also want neomagnets? Send a request to DX'

    Or something similar.
    People need feedback, this is how we work as humans.
    They want to know if others also want the same thing or not.
    Then they will try to influence people to do more requests for the same thing over and over again until DX starts selling them.

    Please note that I believe that this new feature is good, but people will continue with their old habits.
