is it really genuine???

  • PipeRON14 Saturday, October 27, 2012 7:14 PM Reply
Hello, I have seen the images of this cellphone and it don't have a symbol with "LG" in the back cover.
I have searched on internet some pics and videos of this cellphone and, in all that i found so far, it has the symbol in different positions. I try to find one that does not have it, but the only one that i found so far is the one on this page.

This makes me wonder if it is genuine, because this cellphone was only commercialized in Korea and Asia, and, if i buy it, I would be the only one in my country that has one of these (I'm from chile).
I really want to buy this cellphone, but I will not waste my money.

Any answer will help me in my choice, excuse my poor English, I use google translator.

I see what you mean. I suppose its possible as this is the display model that the case got damaged and was replaced with another without LG on it as a lot of the replacement cases don't seem to have that either.
Its a very expensive copy if its not!

I'll see if staff can help/answer you.

When a brand name is mentioned in the title the item is almost always genuine.

cyclist's idea makes a lot of sense, although it says it is "Brand New" so it should not be reconditioned like that. Maybe it just comes without the brand in some markets.

BTW, @JonesDX is the DX cellphone person to PM.

just seemed strange to me, but then I saw the cellphone samsung galaxy SII HD LTE (SKU: 119534), an image is also shown with an antenna.
In an official video review LG LU6200 on youtube shows no antenna but if you can appreciate the location where a slight tab to remove

    should be for LTE network
