Strange application in Android 4.0 phone

  • milanjaros Wednesday, November 7, 2012 4:57 PM Reply
I have received nice Android phone which is working really well(http://dx.com/p/n800-android-4-0-wcdma-bar-phone-w-4-3-capacitive-screen-gps-wi-fi-and-dual-sim-black-149665).
Unfortunately after two weeks it started to download some strange Chinese applications (see following screenshots). Can someone help me to understand what is it and how to get rid of that?

No, I'm not because I don't understand what it is installing. Maybe someone can translate it?
BTW: I have disabled one factory installed app at the very beginning.

Thanks. My system language is Czech. I tried to switch to English but these messages are still Chinese (?). I tried to let installation finish - and it was some strange application which I really did not understand what it do. To be honest I'm really afraid of it. It can send some of my private data or at least send some SMS, as you know...
So I un-installed it - it was yesterday. And today... Again?

I'm not sure but IMHO locale consists of language and place - e.g. en-US (english, United States). My current locale is cs-CZ and my Play is Czech too. Thank you very much for your response.
Here is another screenshot from today:

That doesn't seem like an update downloaded from the Play Store.

There is definitely another app that is downloading those without your consent. All chinese phones come with their own version of an app-market application, and that is possibly what is doing the downloads.

If your device is rooted, you can easily Id these apps and remove them.

Simonetti, I have same opinion. If this is some kind of Chinese app-market I'will try to remove it. I wanted to avoid rooting and flashing but it seems there is not another option in this case.

Thank you very much. As a reward I have another nice screen-shot. ;)

It's almost month and I don't see these "advertisements" any more. I rooted my device and I frozen (disabled) following application:

Unfortunately I am not able to write down the name in text form. ;)

    Hi milanjaros,

Good to see that you found the solution! Just a quick question, how do you root the phone to disable the apps? A link to a tutorial or something like that would be nice :)

I'm sorry that I write after one year. (I didn't get any notification. :-/ )It's almost for sure that you've found a solution already.
As far as I remember it was ICS404root (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1707214). Or maybe SuperOneClick (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682).
