Must be always connected to pc?

Hello everyone,

I want to buy these cameras but I'm just wondering if I must leave my computer on 24hs per day? or it works independently connected only to the router?

What you want are IP cameras with wifi, but these appear to be digital wireless cameras with a receiver with a composite video output to connect to a TV. They use the same 2.4ghz frequency range used by wifi routers, but do not use the same protocol or channels, so will not connect to a wifi device such as a router, and in fact are quite likely to interfere with them.
