Which source should I use?

  • rpmpablo Friday, February 01, 2013 8:59 PM Reply
    Hello friends, I put on tape that led controller, but for example the brand 216w power it, it means that the source must be greater than 216w?

    It depends on how much power your LED consumes. If your LED consume 72W, you will need a 80W or greater power supply.

    I will weld 25 meters of this tape SKU: 41523 (22.5W Waterproof RGB 150x5050 SMD) 30 LEDs per meter, I can only use this controller? And I have a power of 10 amperes, can be?

    But the power of this controller? consumption of this controller? Does not influence the choice of font?

    sku.41523 consumes 22.5W for 5m. ---> 112.5W for 25m. ---> 9.375A at 12V
    So, this controller is really enough for that LED. This controller may consumes 1-2W. You'll need a 10-15A power supply like sku.124509.

    You don't need amplifier if the controller can handle enough power for it.
