is it waterproof or "rainproof" or whatever?
What will happened with this device under heavy rain?

Seems like rainproof. The batteries are enclosed in a plastic case and the cable comes directly from it without connector. It should work in heavy rain.

Have you seen the CPF thread I linked to in an earlier post?
    http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?315957-Review-amp-dissection-of-magicshine-battery-mj-828

The CPF poster complained about some foam getting stuck under the o-ring, which would have allowed water to enter the enclosure. Also, there was no grease on the o-ring. You might want to disassemble yours and fix any build quality issues before using it.
What's up with the scrubbed LED driver IC markings?
What are they trying to hide?

After I read about how to assemble it back, I decided that my hands are not so good for it ;)

I didn't expect such a poor enclosure without o-ring or any grease. It's really poor. Thanks, desolder.

You're welcome, BergExtreme. The CPF reviewer said there was an o-ring present, but no grease. I'm not sure how critical it is to have grease on an o-ring, but for sure an o-ring will leak if there is foreign debris on it (in this case a bit of stray foam).
