JY-MCU BT_BOARD V1.05 not working

  • Dinkleburg238 Wednesday, August 7, 2013 4:33 PM Reply
I just bought this bluetooth module and from everything I've been seeing I should be able to see it right out of the box as linvor and should be able to connnect to it however all I see is HC-06 and when I input the correct pin all it says is paired but I cannot get it to connect to do anything with it. I have also been unable to get my arduino to send commands to and get commands from it.

if you are using the UART make sure it is working with 3.3v i/o, also check you haven't crossed the TX/RX leads, TX on android should go to RX on module.
Don't use the USB port at the same time.

He can always use the SoftwareSerial library, which won't take up the hardware serial pins on a UNO. Therefore there is no problem in using the UNO's USB port and several serial devices simultaneously.

Besides, if he is using a Mega or one of its variants, there are 3 hardware serial ports.
