Problem with Mini 1.5" TFT 5.0MP Wide Angle Car

    When I received it, I unpacked the item (SKU: 156601) and start the camera, but it doesn't work well. It freezes the screen after every 1-2 working minutes. When the screen freezes, it is not possible to turn off the camera holding the power button for a while. The only way to turn off the camera is to wait for the battery to empty. It is the same situation when the camera is pluged in the power supply in the car. I tried with another microSD card (class 10), but there is the same situation. I tried to reset to factory default (by its software) and also tried factory default using the reset button (hardware), but it still doesn't work. I tried every possible combination to configure the camera, but the problem is still present. Below are the images, so you can see how it looks like. Camera is definitely corrupted. I think that the software in camera has a big problem in working process. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thank you.

    Hello,

    thank you for your quick answer. I already contacted DX Customer Service, that was the first thing I have done when I experienced the problem with the camera. But the answer from Customer Service was that I should write a post on this forum about the problem and try to find the solution here. Now, you say that I should contact Customer Service. I don't know what really I should do now and how to solve this problem?

    I have the same problem. I think new, or elderly firmware. But, where find it? Very bad situation. Link download pls.

    That might the machine crash, you can try to reset it or Memory card format.

    I had already mention that in the first post. Everything you suggested I tried, but it couldn't help. The camera is totaly unusable.

    I had the same problem with the one i bought, it crashed after pushing the mode button a couple of times, and the screen went black. Most of the files didnt play i tried a reformat of the memory card and a reset of the unit., to no avail. I am returning the unit to DX after a couple of tough worded emails. I will say that the video quality is quite good for the ones i did see, but when you have only 2 videos out of 20 playing, thats an issue.

    I also bought 3 of these DVRs, All the 8GB micro SD card that came with the units doesn't work, it says class 10, but its really not class 10, may be class 2, I bought a REAL class 10 32GB to try and it works perfectly, no more file error on play back. Don't use card that came with the DVR
