DX EU Customs TAX

    We ordered from DX EU and expected to receive items not only faster but also Tax free, because shipping in EU is free from taxes. However, we received a letter from customs that we need to pay import tax like if we ordered from china. Prices are higher on DX EU, so we expected that it's because they imported and paid taxes, however they're not.
    On the about page they write:
    Do we need to pay extra VAT or duty?
    No,it is an all inclusive price,no additional charge.

    here is where it can get complicated, if you order from EU warehouse it should be tax free, but if the EU warehouse is out of stock(remember EU/AU/US warehouses stock less items than HK warehouse) then the item(s) need to be sourced from usual HK warehouse, i would recommend sending staff a ticket/livechat to confirm EU stock level of item

    Dear staff member,

    I have the same problem. My ordernr is 140603135012986416. The trackingnrs are RC310107035NL and RC310108552NL.

    The shipment is now at the customs at bpost international (Belgium).

    Can you fix this?

    Sorry for the delay.
    This packages are held on customs now. It need few days to check, please wait patiently. We will dispatch the packages as soon as possible after they are released. Hope your understand.

    It's been a week now. I haven't heard or seen anything?! Do you have a status update for me? The customs will destroy or resend the packages to DealExtreme if they do not hear anything after a week.

    I've done nothing so far, just like you asked. But I hope that, if they destroy or resend the packages to DX, that I will still get them...

    I also have the same problem - BPost in Belgium has held my package in customs and I need to pay fees on it as it is sent from Hong Kong and not from within Europe as I expected ??

    Order number 140616135013860470 tracking number RC310126882NL

    I can pay but it's 10 euro handling fee + VAT so it'll be almost as much as what the package cost in total..
    or I can ask to have it sent back and you give me a refund ??

    @limperija, We are sorry for this trouble caused.

    We have sent you an email attached the invoices of the two parcels in it.

    Please check the email and download to make clearance to the customs.

    I have the same problem in Portugal customs, the items are there since 26 of june.
    My order is 140528135012538251 with traking numbers: RC310104153NL&

    Can I ask for a refund? The order was made in 28/05/2014.
