Can I recharge it with my smartphone's charger?

  • vctrbm Monday, December 8, 2014 9:32 AM Reply

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I would like to recharge the Xiaomi Mobile Power Source using the original charger that comes with the S4.

If possible, I think it would be the better method. It would be faster and it wouldn't need a computer nearby. Am I right?

    yes you can,

all android cable are compatible, the only problem is the charging time is depend on the quality of the cable.

we suggest you use the one come with the battery.

Actually, I wasn't referring to the cable, but the charger*.

As far as I know, it is faster to recharge batteries using my house's outlets (220 volts) rather than a computer's USB port.

Moreover, I don't always have a device with a USB port (a computer for example) to connect the "Xiaomi Mobile Power Source" and recharge it.

However, the "Xiaomi Mobile Power Source" doesn't include an outlet charger like this one -> http://screencloud.net/v/uXuB

Did you understand me? I would like to recharge the "Xiaomi Mobile Power Source" using the outlet charger of my samsung galaxy s4. Is it possible?

ps: Sorry for my poor English..

    Dear @vctrbm,

your English is perfect, sorry i misunderstood it.
i have tried so many charger with my xiaomi powerbank(Sony phone charger, iphone charger)
they are working perfectly, but the only problem is the low-quality will damage the power bank,
make sure your charge is under 2A, with 5V input, it's ok.
We have checked with xiaomi CS.

You can charge it with any 5V charger, though should be at least 500 mA I think. There is no maximum (m)A, since the the power is automatically changed depending on the device. I charge my Xiaomi power bank with iPad charger (2.4A), and it works perfectly.
