I can't pay using a debit card

  • akf0296 Thursday, April 02, 2015 10:00 PM Reply
Well today I tried to buy a product, and when I gave the payment information well the payment wasn't received. An error message appeared saying that I don't have any money in that account, which is not true at all! It's a debit card that I have used before to buy stuff from DX.
Can you help me? I have already paid other things with it, so there seems to be no problem with the debit card.

is it a Visa or Mastercard debit card? try opening a new paypal account and use that debit card as fund source, works fine for me

It's mastercard, I don't use paypal :/ I mean I have used this debit card before to buy stuff successfully but I don't know what's the problem now.
The error message says Globebill uncommon exception and some numbers. I have money in the account so it's not the card :/

The message is from the company/service managing credit card payments for DX. Either a temporary server error or they can no longer process your card (it happens, a small change in you card's issuer international agreements is all it takes).

As stated above, Paypal should work.

If you need to provide a screenshot in future, this is how to do it:

    1. Open a (free) account with an image host site. The one I use is “imgur.com”.
    2. Open the page you want to copy and click the “PrtScr” (print screen) button on your keyboard. This will copy exactly what is showing on your screen and places it on the “clipboard” (memory).
    3. Save it as a file in “My Pictures”.
    4. Bring up the “My pictures” index page and the Imgur home page and reduce both so you have both side by side on the same screen.
    5. Click and drag the file from My Pictures onto the Imgur page. It will show as a “thumbnail” (small image) on the Imgur page.
    6. click on that image and a list of codes appears in the column on the right. The code you want is named “BBCode (message boards & forums)”- second from the bottom.
    7. Copy that code and paste it onto the forum page. When you click “post message” , the image will be displayed.

If it is too complicated, you can open a ticket via link https://cs.dx.com/Ticket/Check/Payment.Fail.
