How to access it with a PC ?

  • mrmuzzio Monday, December 21, 2015 10:19 AM Reply

Hello, i've bought an Ant QF605 and I'd like to know if i can access it with my PC. The website yoosee.co seems to be down and the only way to access the camera seems to be the android app.

The specs shows support for a web page and RTSP but I can't make those work. I've written to the manufacturer (ESCAM) but I didn't get a response yet.

The ESCAM webpage does not have any documentation, firmware, how-to, faq, etc.

    Any help would be great!

    Hello,

QF605 can not be accessed directly by IP address,

RTSP can find through this software (ONVIF Device Manager).

In addition there are other access methods,

    see the documentation http://m5.img.dxcdn.com/CDDriver/xrj/QF605.docx

    Thanks

Thanks for your reply, I've tried the Onvif device manager and the CMS software. With them I can see the video feed at 640px instead of the advertised 720p quality, but it looks good anyway.

It's a shame that a product like this does not have a direct access with a local web, since you depend on having an active Internet connection and the service of a third company. At least in my country the site yoosee.co works really slowly or does not work at all.

On the other hand, I could not use any other functions like alerts, mail, etc. with the PC software. Even with the Yoosee Android application I can't  configure the emails alerts. When you enter the email address you get an error "e-mail format error". Could you configure the email alerts ?

The push alerts are working only if you have you phone connected to the internet and the application is running. If you close the application or lose internet connection for a few seconds you don't recieve the alert. This is why a mail-based solution would be nice.

Any help would be great !
