Doogee Y300

  • bigbabee Wednesday, July 13, 2016 2:58 PM Reply

I can`t get this phone to connect to a cellular network. I tried a sim card from AT&T and one from T-mobil. Can`t make a phone call or go online. This is suppose to be a factory unlocked GSM phone. I know that my sim cards are good because they work in my unlocked T-mobil phone. Has anyone gotten this phone to work in the US?

There is more to Mobile phones than just being GSM and unlocked. They also need to be capable of operating on the networks in your country and this phone is definitely not going to work in USA.

You need to check with AT&T or T-Mobil in your area, but you are probably looking for a phone with B4 (1700MHz) or B2 (1900MHz).

Unfortunately even the 3G bands are unsuitable for U.S. networks too. No good for Canada or Mexico either. If you're going to the Olympics in Rio you could hock it down there.
