Power - wattage

  • norwegr Saturday, December 24, 2016 12:12 AM Reply

This bulb is sold as a kit of two, and the text specifications state that they are 30 W each. It is then very misleading to sell this as 60 W bulb.  The bulb is 30 W, not 60, and the lumen is 30k, not 60k lm.  Even the DX specs in table format says 60W - which is very misleading.  This is similar to selling two bottles of 40 % vodka as 80 % vodka.

Bulbs are always specified individually. Lamps with several bulbs together, otoh, would be specified with the total light output and total power consumption.

    It gets worse.

    LED Chip Brand: Cree

LED Quantity: 4pcs (each bulb has two chips)

    Power: 60W/Set (30W/each bulb)

    Lumens: 6000LM/Set (3000LM/each bulb)

Cree doesn't make 15 W LEDs of the type pictured (I doubt they're Cree at all) which means they won't be making 3000 lm each.

    Chip Brand    Cree

    Chip Type    XML2

They are definitely NOT Cree XM-L2 LEDs.

    Power    60W

    Color Temperature    6000K

    Actual Lumens    6000lumens

@Maye_Tao enough with the lies! As norwegr said, if the bulbs are 30W each then that's what should be stated. And what are the LEDs really?

DX has found a new way to deceive customers:
Use reviews for different products that have not been bought
by the person who wrote the review.
