30 POINT COMPETITION

  • ozOzo Top 10 Forum Poster Wednesday, March 01, 2017 9:50 AM Reply

    It must be a couple of years since we had one of these so here goes... the comp is open to all customers and it's just for a bit of fun..

    There are two questions.
    The first player to post the correct answer to Question 1 will earn 10 DX Points.
    The first player to post the correct answer to Question 2 will earn 20 DX Points.

    Question 1: What, (according to DX), do DAVE and LEAH have in common?

    Question 2: What is the SKU number of the item associated with DAVE and LEAH?

    Well done PolarCircle, you win!

    I didn't think I had left enough clues for the search to be that quick and easy! In fact there are several other Cubots that have those "languages" listed. The one that I was actually looking at was the new Cubot Rainbow2 SKU.852458782 but the one you mention is a winner anyway.

    Had you ever heard of Dave and Leah? I certainly hadn't until today. From what I can tell they would be better described as language learning systems, so I don't know how exactly they would work with a phone! Anyway I'm buying a Cubot Rainbow2 to find out.

    @Maye_Tao,

    Would you be so kind as to transfer 30 DX Points from my account into PolarCircle's? Thank you.

    Son of a gun.

    I was sure it was a flashlight. All I needed was to figure out which one. And who Dave and Leah were. :)

    ALWAYS ask questions about a specific item on its
    page. Scroll down and click on "Post a new topic".

    Thanks ozOzo (and sorry for the slow reply), it is appreciated.

    And thanks Maye_Tao, matrix-neo and gasbag11 too.

    It were just a coincidence I stopped by and saw the challange!

    I have been a little absent from DX the last year as most of the items I ordered never showed up, and as they didn't have tracking numbers it were difficult to know if they just were late. I guess I have to file tickets ...

    It is good to be back though.

    Well, that was a short comp.

    PolarCircle, you stole my Fault Finders thanks line and pipped me at the comp.

    DX has found a new way to deceive customers:
    Use reviews for different products that have not been bought
    by the person who wrote the review.

    @sheepish

    No, just recycled the line in an enviormentaly friendly way.

    And I pipped you so narrowly that if you look at the date upside down it is the same date!

    10 and 01

    so don't be sad.
