Rejected reviews - why?

  • jurov Tuesday, November 14, 2017 2:20 AM Reply

    I have bought and reviewed

SKU: 456444  "too tight and hard to connect/disconnect."

SKU: 471882 "Cable is very stiff, it pulls too much on connected device and not practically possible to stretch near 1 meter or more."

But I also wrote that both items work and are of adequate quality, the reviews were rejected with "Dear customer, please open a ticket ..."

But I accept the product despite minor flaws and don't want to open tickets and RMA the items....and I think the information is useful.

Mods are no longer allowed to do reviews and DX will only approve 4/5 star reviews.

You can still give something a bad (honest) review, but will need to give it a 4/5 star rating for it to get approved without DX staff even looking at it!

Its best to write a review on the products own page as it wont get censored there ;)

But wait, the dodgy-ness doesn't stop there. DX uses the same reviews for different products, even if they're considereably different, not just a different colour.

DX has found a new way to deceive customers:
Use reviews for different products that have not been bought
by the person who wrote the review.

Maybe DX was using the "reviews of faulty products will not be approved" condition. See http://club.dx.com/forums/Forums.dx/threadid.1472649 for my last non-approved review.

Ive been told several times to open a ticket because I reported that a few things were in the wrong category!
