Oh please!

How far will the lies go?

    42,000lm is totally ridiculous.

The LEDs are NOT Cree XM-L T6s. They're probably cheap clones which are about half as bright as genuine Crees.

Without the voltage and current specs, there's no way to know how many lm it really puts out, but since 12 Cree XM-L T6 leds driven to their max current (3A) would only emit about 11,000 lm, (minus about 20% for heat/reflector and lens loss) I wouldn't hesitate to rate the max output of this light with one less zero than the title says. 4200 lm. Maybe more, but probably not much.

More lies plus missing info. vv

    Emitter Brand    Cree    > Lie

    LED Type    XM-L     > Lie

    Emitter BIN    T6       > Lie

    Number of Emitters    12

    Color BIN    White

    Working Voltage    -V   ?

Power Supply    -    ?  (should say how many/what type cells are needed)

    Current    -A     ?

    Theoretical Lumens    - lumens    ?

    Actual Lumens    - lumens       ?

    Runtime    - hour    ?

    Number of Modes    -    ?

    Mode Arrangement    -    ?

    Mode Memory    No

    Switch Type    -     ?

    Switch Location    Head

    Lens    -     ?

    Reflector    -     ?

    Beam Range    -cm     ?

One more thing. Take a close look at the extra pic of the person shining the light at the building. The light in that pic looks much too small to be this one, and has a beam pattern just like a zoom light zoomed in for close up light.

    I confirm that.

    Fixed that for you.

I confirm that too. The crisp shadows in that beam shot shows there's only one light source, not 12.

    Top of the overview:

Super Bright: With 12x Cree XM-L T6 LED, producing the super bright light which can be up to 12000LM.

Contradicts the title and still contains multiple lies.

How does the last beam shot before the specs blank out the hills in the background?

    Dimensions

                           0.79 in x 0.79 in x 0.79 in (2 cm x 2 cm x 2 cm)

A 2cm cube? DX doesn't check even look at this stuff.

    Under the subtitle:

That explains all the lies. But it doesn't explain why DX continues to lie to its customers.

    Lol

I just noticed something strange. Give a close look at the bottom row of extra pics, especially the vertical image with the light pointing at something in the sky. What on earth is coming out of that flashlight? It sure isn't light. It looks much more like fog or smoke.

If that "beam" was photoshopped, whoever did it was an idiot.

I hope it isn't because of nuclear bulbs like the light you just started a thread about. :D

I found the beam shot in widespread usage for zoom torches around the world - for example, Brazil, Malaysia, even Palau.
