Supports Quick Charge and Data Transmission

    How have you tested it?

    How cute.

DX has found a new way to deceive customers:
Use reviews for different products that have not been bought
by the person who wrote the review.

i suspect Cowboy knitting is the result of someone googling denim or similar

btw chargers can be certified as QC compatibile, can cables also? quoting just the max current is hardly conclusive, resistance of cable and materials is kind of important

Resistance is futile-give in to DX gadget craving!
also a voluntary mod-be nice please!

    Yes, I have tested it.

I have several QC3 chargers, and several cables that really support quick charge.

    I have USB voltage/current meters.

We have at least 6 different phones or tablets which support quick charge.

I have cross-checked with many variations and the bottom line is that this cable does not support quick charge.

I don't know if this is true for other than USB-C -cables (from an article in quora dot com):

    quote:
"Type-C cables also contain a tiny ID ROM that describes what they support, in terms of speed, power delivery, etc."
"Some Type-C cables support 5A power, some only 3A, another reason for the move to a smart ID."

I know this isn't type C cable. But I would suspect that quick charge requires something from the cable, and this cable

does not have it. At least the one cable that I have.
