The throbbers are running rampant here...

  • gasbag11 Top 10 Forum Poster Friday, September 28, 2018 10:53 PM Reply

... and have been for almost 2 weeks now.

In case you didn't know, "throbbers" are those little spinning wheels that mean "please wait" while a page is loading etc.

In DX's case, they're on every product page and they block all the product forums. If you want to see the product forums, (or just see if there are product forums) you have to click on the "see more" button on the right side of the page.

ALWAYS ask questions about a specific item on its
page. Scroll down and click on "Post a new topic".

    And today, throbbing away.

DX has found a new way to deceive customers:
Use reviews for different products that have not been bought
by the person who wrote the review.

You know that's only in North America, right? The rest of the world has the Duracell bunny, which the US copied years later, then managed to trademark it to exclude the Duracell bunny from those markets.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duracell_Bunny

The Duracell Bunny campaign was launched in 1973 and predates the Energizer Bunny, which was created in 1989.

But I have to admit that using the unoriginal Energizer ad campaign to characterise some Chinese business practices seems quite appropriate.
