    Useless without a wi-fi connection.

It cannot find anything other then 2G networks.

Wrong, it does have 3G and 4G bands (frequencies).

    3G-     B1 (2100MHz), B5 (850MHz) B8 (900MHz)

    4G-     B1 (2100MHz), B3(1800), B7(2600MHz), B8 (900MHz), B20(800MHz), and TDD-LTE: B40(2300MHz).

What you probably mean is the bands available on this phone are not those used by operators in your country. Where do you live? The most important thing when buying a phone is to know which bands are used by the operator you wish to use, and check the band details in the specifications of the phone. Most service providers have more than one band available.

You can check the bands available in your area using the links in my sig.

The statement might be right. The phone may be supposed to have 3G and 4G bands, but that doesn't mean the phone's Chinese programming will work correctly. Consider - can you find any webpage which mentions Kieren John Trippier has a contract to advertise Leagoo phones? The only place I can find them mentioned together is on the Leagoo website.

Why is there a timer counting down next to the phone's price?

DX has found a new way to deceive customers:
Use reviews for different products that have not been bought

    SKU is 852564026.

Because of the slow 2G data speed, I cannot get apps like Maps, WeChat, ... to work without a wi-fi connection.

I think Alisa-Deng must have meant to ask for your Order #. You (correctly) posted in the product page and the SKU # is obvious  from the top of this page.

This is the wrong phone for USA. Most of your service providers operate on 3G and 4G Bands 4 or 12. Check with your local companies, there may be one that has a SIM for one of the bands mentioned in my earlier post but it's unlikely.

    Order number is 180915001057269158

This phone may not be a good fit for US.

I will have to buy another phone.

I really want to return it if possible. Otherwise, I just waisted $130 I paid.

A few sad facts to consider Frank:

Once the phone is out of the box it can no longer be sold as "new" so DX will not want it back. Even if they agreed to a deal, it would only be a fraction of what you paid after they deduct postal costs, both to Texas and return to China.

    There are two possible alternatives:

    (1)   If you know a really knowledgeable computer geek who knows how to root a phone and instal a custom ROM, you could ask if it is possible to get it working on your local frequencies. I have no idea if that is possible with this phone, and certainly would not attempt it myself!

    (2)   You could try selling it on-line. Some of the Carribbean and South American countries are the nearest to you, who use these bands... Brazil is one (but not Argentina).
