Issues USB C cables with Galaxy S9

    Hi, 

    I has taken a while to find out what the error message mend on the screen of my galaxy s9. A icon of a water drip and power sign with a cross in it. The reason of the error is there is water detected in the connection.

    The error is wrong and has nothing to do with water but.. a power cord that is malfunctioning.

    The situation to check the powercord is working ok:

    powerdown your phone 

    take original power supply and ad your powercord

    if it works correctly you get in a few seconds the circle with the amound of power in the battery and loading

    if the cable fails you get the water drop sign and the error the telephone will not load.

    This issue is new to me and has never been seen but to debug the issue to a powercable did cost me some time.

    BTW i did until now no reaction back btw. 

    2 brands both cables are not working for the galaxy 9.

    I don't blame the cables, but the fact is, they don't work. 

    Seems the usb c specifications have some free interpretation.
