BEWARE! HARDDRIVE SHOULD BE JUST IN VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL POSITION!otherwise bearing in harddisk will be really mesed up. well laptops have more resistant harddisks(i dont know how much more resistant but you should know this vital information)

could you give more proof than that please?

some sort of article agreeing with you or some such?

I really doubt that it matters what angle your hard drive is in.

Well its for laptops when you put it on your lap its not in perfect angle either.
These wont cause that big damage you maybe thinking of, a lot of hard disk drives works in vertical state.

hey what about the stands from hp

the station dock 3000 or something

that thing puts the laptop on high angles

the angle indeed just affect a lot when you move the harddisk bumping it or sudden moves
but being stable should not affect the disk performance.

Easy solution for me, buy 2 packs and put 4 underneath your laptop. Obviously it wouldn't be convenient to take your laptop everywhere with you, but using 2x halves of ball already caused this problem.

It doesn't matter how the harddrive is angled, just don't move the harddrive while it's running. In this case, don't move your laptop around to much, while it is turned on. The angle or position of the harddrive inside the laptop, doesn't matter at all.
