Brightest 18650 Drop-in Module?

  • edap617 Saturday, January 31, 2009 11:18 PM Reply
I want to get the brightest 18650 drop-in module. I am thinking of getting this one.

Does anybody have an experience with the above mentioned drop-in?

Any other recommendation will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

I finally got my http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11074 drop in module.

Although this is the most expensive drop-in module here at DX but I am very happy with this. Very bright... even brighter than my other Q5 and R2 LED flashlights. I will order another one so I can upgrade my Romisen RC-E from P4 to Q5.

Why not the R2 drop-in? Cheaper and R2 should be more efficient and slightly brighter.

I like this one because, despite the description, it only has one mode, which is 100% variable. You can make it so dim it barely glows...to full brightness. Love the adjustability.

I have both the sku.11074 and the sku.17593. I have been using the 17593 more, simply for the flexibility to use one or two cells. I like them both, they were both good upgrades for the lights.

I also have the http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.17593. This module is also ok but it is a bit dim on 18650.
