Please improve the points system..

  • Kadoosh Thursday, March 26, 2009 4:33 PM Reply
Would it be so hard to fix the system so points get activated automatically after 60 days and let us use the points without having to open a CSE ticket?
I dont think this is to much to ask is it?

Total points collected (historical): 1110 (this includes points pending, spent, transferred, or later reversed points)
Pending points: 940 (points that are not yet available for use)
    Points available for use: 32

I'm sure many of my points are older then 60 days but I cant check it since the history doesn't go so far back.

"Can we have an easier system so we don't have to open tickets?"

"Just open a ticket to use your points!"

That answer doesn't strike me as very helpful.....

Edit: Oh, and I agree it would be great if this happened :)

Besides opening tickets every time just causes more work load...
And the last time I made a ticket to use my points on something from $7,10 they took 90 points...
3/23/2009 DX03232009045604 $0.00 (-90 pts) Active [Adj. by [email protected]] redeem 80 dx points for order 0313Z612

Im not gonna whine about getting my 20 points back but still it could work a lot easier if they fix the system.

Ffs how hard is it to activate my dx points...
Total points collected (historical): 1227 (this includes points pending, spent, transferred, or later reversed points)
Pending points: 1058 (points that are not yet available for use)
    Points available for use: 24

I order stuff almost every days since a few months so the story about they get activated after 60 days is BS since I never get more available points.
My available point should change daily...

They only ones that got activated was after making a ticket... but this time it didnt work.

Actually, I know the points system has issues but isn't it all moot anyway? The things available to redeem points for are either all gone or are basically useless. I haven't seen any items added / updated / replaced since I knew what DX points were. What good are the points if there is nothing to spend them on?

That's right, there's nothing to spend them on. You might as well just give them to me.

Or... go and read the only sticky thread in this forum.

    True.
This point use system is designed to be hard on purpose.
Can't help but believe DX's being mean toward customers when it comes to reward loyalty.

Anyhow, just to counterpoint Kadoosh: my points have been appearing correctly and without (further) delay.

How "almost" is that, exactly? DX hasn't been around for 10 years. Or even 9 years.
