Look. If they say it's genuine, it's genuine. If not, contact Dx & they will either send you a genuine one, or a refund.

This item is pretty new, so no one knows.

I think its a fair question. Anyone remember the "genuine" kingstons that were sandisks with stickers... the "genuine" eneloop that were too large and didnt hold charge. There's been plenty of stuff here thats claimed to be genuine and hasnt been (not saying DX knew). Dont get me wrong, order from here all the time, place is great. But not everythings quite as its advertised.

I'd just hold off a while and if they aint genuine, someones bound to post a complaint. For an item like this, I'm suprised it matters as long as it works. :-)

Well it seems like it is genuine. At my local stores, this thing cost around $19 bucks...... so I am pretty sure it is genuine for the price of $15.89

Don't know whether it's genuine or not but it does work perfectly on my MBP. It does everything that it's made for. Nothing to complain about.

However, be careful: mine is nowhere near new, it definitly passed through somebody else's hands before. It has micro scratches everywhere and some deep scratches also. I can see bumps on all edges. And the battery inside is full of fingerprints!

I won't get into the hassle of complaining because it still works. But I'm very disappointed.

I got naively fooled by the nice pictures. I hope I was the unlucky one.

    Be warned

BE CAREFUL! DON'T BUY THIS ITEM!!

My DX Apple Remote Control is Genuine, BUT IT DOESN WORKS! IT'S BROKEN! FULL OF SCRATCHES, DIRTY AND USED!!

You can't believe my disappoint. This is not the first time I buy in DX, but it is first time that they sent me a used and broken and dirty and scretched product!

And I can't send a replacement request because after fill the form, the page doesn't works.

    I'M VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED
