Brightness adjustable... like genuine LL H7?

  • Felinux Tuesday, September 15, 2009 2:54 AM Reply
I see only one mode to adjust brightness, the slider on rear batteries holder, so is this like genuine Led lenser H7?

Special Features: Slide the bezel to change beam pattern between flood and throw. Screw-in for retangle, Screw-out for circular. Brightness adjustable.

Exactly the same as Lenser H7. I have both. These are probably Lenser seconds/rejects beam not as good as Lenser and focusing is a little stiff. Led is also not as well centered. Not bad for $20

    Hi,

how can this be similar to the H7? That lamp was independently tested by the German outdoor magazine "Outdoor" and the runtime was 40-75 hours! Check it out: http://www.outdoor-magazin.com/lampen/test-led-lenser-h7.335238.d_odc_produkt_datenblatt.3.htm

If it's true that using the dimmer of the DX version does NOT prolong battery life, it must be very different than the LedLenser version ...

Besides theory: Has anybody tried the DX version dimmed to the minimum. If so, what was the runtime?

    Greetings, Mark
