mine is a wimp

    another module under driven,I can only pull 1.6 amps from a fresh 18650 ,nowhere the advertised 2.8,gosh... hate this bad QC and no cheap at all.
    BTW i bought the same module in EB**Y,of course 10 bucks more ,but at least is doing 2.3 amps and is very bright ,I´m

    by the actual spec's of the led you can direct drive it with one 18650, 5 volt max input at 5 amp

    its a kinda a pain in the butt, you have to remove the driver unsolder the leeds going to emmiter, hook up a battery to the driver with short wire and tape,make sure the + and - are in the right place then using a meter check contacts on the driver for a + and - but not the same ones you removed the leeds from then resolder the emmiter leeds and do an amp test and go from there

    Wow man ,You are cool ,and thanks for the advice ,sure I´m going to give the shoot,but I have a cheaper SSC 7 first I want to experiment first, in DD a led,but sure I apreciatte your response.
