  • driftin Sunday, October 24, 2010 1:12 AM Reply
    Hey guys,

Just wondering if this knife is legal to import into Australia. I looked on the Australian custom website and as far as I can tell its legal.

But I dont want to order it if it is not legal....

    Please help asap :D

    no you can't >>

a knife is considered to be a WEAPON >>

and obviously you can;t import weapons unless you have a permit and or you fill out a form basically saying that you want the XYZ so that you can XYZ...etc

or you can take the risk and get fined tho LOL

I found a really good site you can order ' knife kits ' from. You can order switchblades that come with a comb instead of a blade so its legal. But you also get the blade seperate and you just take the comb out and put the blade in. That way it comes totaly legal.
I even rang the customs hotline and they said its legal.

Tell me if you want details

    well good luck with that.
it's a little on the exspensive side for me. but then again i can go to just about any walmart around here and buy an assisted knife, or go to a flea market or gun show and get an automatic.

oh... and orde assisteds from dx too.

you're not supposed to post other websites. it's in the term's and conditions you checked before posting.

that bein' an american site, you may still have to deal with aussie customs.
after readin' around in it, it looks like it has been written by a bunch of 15 year olds.

    again... good luck with that.
