Yeah I have had one of those aswell, Did it go POP TOO, the sad thing was, after my post people acted like I had the problem. Hopefully you were around.

Just like Lithium batteries, Smart Charger and Protected Cells, I still dont trust them enough to leave them unattended. So for some things I Babysit them as I have little trust for them. The chinese amaze me at alot of things. They work out the Cheapest of the Cheap, which I guess is good for us but also has its down sides.

For example the Paper Thin Wires they use that your fingernail could break the insulation on and they expect you to plug that into 110 Volts or 230 volts. You as much move it and the insulation will break.

I guess the rule of thumb here is alot of products, Especially chargers need babysitting

unlike real mccoy said. dont send it back until DX have told you to.

use the below link and explain the situation there. fgive them a link to this thread. personally i wouldnt want a replacement, i would ask for store credit (i doubt they would give you a full refund, unless you started getting a little arsey with them, its your call and how much effort you want to put into it though.

at the end of the day, even branded chargers can go wrong.

    Hmm..
    Sorry to hear this..

    But questions remain:
    Whats the SKU.Number ?
    What did you charge ?
The device you charged..is that still working ? and undamaged ?
Did this explosion case a fuse to blow..
or did you see it happen..

    Best to post more pictures..
I'm wondering what can case a explosion..in these small components

Yes. That is the one. I was charging my iphone 4. But luckily, nothing happen to my phone. I don't want any replacement now cos I don't have the confidence to use it anymore.
It trips my office breaker and I was so embarrassed.
