Which is "best" - Mac or PC? What does "best" mean? Best in what way, best for what purpose?

best flood and throw for Buck

XP-L High Intensity (not the XP-L High Density). The High Intensity version has no extra optics (like a lens) on the front, meaning (1) it'll have the widest beam when used without a reflector and (2) the apparent die size is smaller so will produce a tighter beam when used with a reflector.

Do not believe the lumen claims on those torches.

Edit: No, the datasheet says the High Density has a wider viewing angle. I'm surprised.

Wide viewing angle: 125° (XP-L High Density), 115° (XP-L High Intensity)
