laser modules into australia??

    i was wondering if a 50mw green laser module i ordered would get past australian customs??

    Good question buddy, I too am looking to import a reasonably powered laser but am unsure about the regulations as to what is allowed and what isn't. Post back on this thread to let us know how it goes. Cheers. ;)

    Yer I've done some research and it looks like there's a great possibility it might get through I've ordered it but it just say order received like all my other items I'll definetly keep you posted on what happens

    When you say green laser module do you mean an incomplete laser like ;
    100mW 405nm Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser Module (3V)
    or do you mean a complete working laser.

    Laser modules are legal within Australia because they're not a complete pointer.
