  • vlaine Thursday, September 8, 2011 11:14 AM Reply
My outdoor speaker uses a 9V adapter or 6 AA batteries (.
    Would you use:
    a. 3 lithium batteries (11.1V),
    b. 2 lithium batteries (7.4V),
    c. stay with 6 Ni-mh batteries

If you wanted to do it, it would be two as they would be 8.4v fully charged.

9V battery is around 7V when at 20% remaining charge, two of Li-Ion batts are at 7.4V almost the whole time - I'd say it should work.
