Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:

This probes should be in every electronic hoobbyist's tool bag (along with an actual oscilloscope, of course)! I've bought this for my SKU93518 cheap USB oscilloscope (USBee AX clone), due to it's low input range (-10 to +10V); the x10 range on the probes allow me (theoretically) to measure a higher signal (almost -100 to +100V). The technical specs are appropriate for hobby use (don't expect it to excel like the $200+ probes); but what can you expect at a price similar to a professional oscilloscope carrying bag?

    Cons:

None so far. The probes are doing their job perfectly (at a maximum tested frequency of 4.9MHz @5V, at least).

    OtherThoughts:

My cheap oscilloscope didn't have a BNC female input, so if you want to use it with that respective oscilloscope, you'll need a BNC female cable as short as possible, to prevent distorsions.

    Bottomline:

    Perfect for hobby use!
