Worked right out of the box (or should I say bubble wrap), clear markings on the PCB, pairing led very useful, nice to have a voltage regulator on board so you can feed it 5V without risk of breaking it (beware though that the data lines are still 3.3V).
No documentation whatsoever, not even a cheat sheet or an indication of the default configuration (9600bps 8,N,1 BTW). Luckily the comments here provided enough information to get it going.
Since this is a slave device, only a few of the AT commands are supported. Also, you don't have to terminate them with CR+LF, just the command itself. Beware that there's no command to query the settings (e.g. some documents say you can use "AT+NAME?" to query the name and "AT+NAME=name" to set it, however the first one will set the name to "?" and the second to "=name", equal sign included).
Buy it if you have a device with a 3.3V serial and you need to access it via bluetooth.
