They have a very strong connection, if they come free during use you are doing something seriously wrong. Much better than using bullet or spade connectors. Smooth flat surface give a good connection area.
Little hard to part when new.
Soldering tabs really need a hole to make a secure connection to wire.
Heat shrink is adequate, but I prefer adhesive lined.
Best way to solder to these is to drill a hole through the soldering tab and pass the wire through it before soldering. An alternative is after tinning your wire crush it slightly, with pliers, to give a flat area to solder to.
Changing all my projects from bullet to these now, they are a much better alternative.
