    Probably doesn't filter out UV, but is a decent option to protect your expensive glass.

    great and cheap product, i use it for my nikkon camera when i use my tamron 70-300 lens. it protects the lens. and that is all i want. -works -srews nice on it -protects my lens -quality seems good couldnt realy found any, you also get a nice box with it.. only thing is the shipment, but hey! its...     Screws nicely into my 18-200 tamron lens. No details on the glass. None. Maybe could be a little cheaper. Also, it came in a very large filter holder.     Does a great job protecting my AF Micro Nikkor 60mm 1:2.8D lens! I like the plastic box it comes in sturdy and nice! (shown in the next to last image) Build quality is nice.     - It protects my Tamron 18-250mm lens (that's the reason I bought it) - The filter is delivered in a nice thick and hard plastic circular housing, so it will not get damaged during transport (the outer cardboard box was damaged). - the filter is also available in various other filter sizes I hope...
