Small converter with cables long enough. Two LEDs to signalize it's connected properly (POWER LED) and that data transmit occurs (DATA LED). Works perfectly in Ubuntu Linux using the stock ch341 kernel module and various MIDI programs.
None I can think of. This device works as intended, period.
I've bought a rather cheap electronic keyboard for Christmas and this adapter allowed me to hook it up with my laptop and use its full potential with MIDI software like LMMS (Linux MultiMedia System).
BTW, sometimes the ch341 serial kernel module is not loaded automatically after plugging in this MIDI adapter. I suspect it's because I don't have the keyboard powered on or something. Anyway, simple
$ sudo modprobe ch341
I would definitely suggest anyone to buy this product as it just works.
