    The magnifying glass coupled with the led light was godsend when doing soldering on small components. The clip was good and the flex-joint are reasonably easy to use. If you have a long soldering pen (like i do) then the soldering tip might touch the base (which is plastic) when its place in the holder. :( A simple and reasonably priced tool which does ...     Functionality is good. Metal parts looks well. Magnified glass has 2 scales. Magnified Glass is clear and good. It is possible to move it in any direction. Light is good as bonus, don`t think I will use it very often 1. Need to improve holders on every connection. They are week. 2. Postament material is plastic. It is not good.     - Leds for extra light - Sturdy stand - Double magnification - Good clamps - Good quality (and sturdy) magnifying glass holder - Screws can be hard to tighten. Easy to work with and to setup. Easy placement of 3 AAA batteries in the bottom of the stand. Extra weight of the batteries also improves the stability of the stand. Great product for this price.... Read more

    Magnifier is very good. Very well thinked Ligths. Holding clamps adjustable are awesome. Price The design.The base shoud be larger, or heavier. Its dangerous because its not hard when you hold the solding iron at the support it tends to fall down.Indeed the soldering iron support should be thinner or have a bottom because if you have a thin soldering ...     Once you have this stand, you will realize how handy it is for many other jobs, not just soldering. Clearly the designers have done their homework on this product.
