Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:

For helmet definitely better than GoPro:
    86 gramm
    better size and form
    laser&led beaming for proper centering
very responsive vibro feedback - applauses to designers
live AV+HDMI video streaming during standby&recording
720p60fps (autoswitch to 720p30fps under weak lightning)
    very good usability
amarella chipset - garanteed no frame drops - smooth footage, goo colors

    Cons:

    microphone isn't isolated from body case, simple rubber between mic and case would fix that;

broken audio stream format in avi container hangs 95% of video editing software at PC and MAC, manufacturer have to consider more compatibility

no ability to charge and see video simultaneously (maybe home made cable hack will help)

no webcam drivers, camera have webcam mode, but
unavailable drivers pisses off end users

no ability to delete videos from camera interface
lot of dead warm pixels during night shooting (not a problem at all)

no firmware updates or official site|support

    OtherThoughts:

external mic micro connector a must, people shooting mostly when not underwater - good sound a must!

stereo recording (for external mic) is desirable, even a lot of modern photocams do that wonderfull

To be honest, with such optics 1080p is useless - more space, more computing power waste ;)

Micro analogue LCD display 1-2" with battery container pack would be very useful for fast calibration or conversion to consumer microHD cam.

    Bottomline:

How-to successfull edit footage with minimal reconversion:
use Avidemux from avidemux.org and replace audio stream in avi contaner to stereo mp3, for video stream just leave "copy" and voila - all programs work with footage seamlessly; also you can cut and merge footages from cam without recoversion, before importing in serious video editing software.
After replacing audio stream SONY Vegas 9,10,11, Corel and even VirtualDub work flawlessly.
