Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

very very bright, a bit brighter than the lights of the car, but not that long distance. It is very bright the first 100 meters, lower light from 100-200 meters, and very dim from 200-300 meters. Throws a lot of light around, it is not a focused beam, but a spreaded one, which is really nice, you can see a much larger field of view. Splendid torch for anyone who wants a mega bright light. Here is a video I have shot :

There are 3 modes (bright, normal, off) on this flashlight, but my flashlight came with only 2 modes: bright, normal, normal :)) , so I cannot turn off the light, I have to unscrew the cap a bit, so that there's no energy from the batteries. This is a factory defect, it is a bit uncomfortable, but I'm ok with this. I'm just worried that the contacting area between the top and the batteries is erasing with each rotation(screwing/unscrewing) and it may just stop working one day :) but I hope it will not be soon.

I have put some lube (oil) on the screwing threads in order to avoid a fast wear out, since it is of aluminium and is wearing out very easy, if you screw/unscrew it often. I have also bought these batteries http://dx.com/p/genuine-panasonic-18650-3100mah-rechargeable-battery-with-protection-board-green-pair-121444 and this charger http://dx.com/p/trustfire-tr-003p4-battery-charger-for-10430-10440-14500-16340-17670-18500-18650-ac-110-240v-66842 for it.

Nice design, 3 bright and powerful leds, clean glass, very bright light, aluminium body makes it lighter, but not lifelong lasting.
