Good value for your money.
Seems to be some QC problems according to candlepower forum posts. Some chargers overcharge others are good.
I tested mine with a sensitive digital voltmeter. My green lights came on at 4.17 volts. I tried "fooling the charger" by pulling the batteries out and reinserting, pluging and unpluging the power supply. All results were the same, 4.17 volts when the green line comes on. I did not check to see if it goes into a trickle charge mode but intend to do so next time.
This is a good little charger but I would not leave it unattended. If possible, you should check yours with a voltmeter. A cheap digital voltmeter is sold by harbor freight tools for $5 and it will do the job.
