Ridiculously cheap compared to what you'd have to pay for the individual components + PCB to hold it.
The output voltage fluctuates depending on the load, so it's not for applications where a stable voltage source is mission critical. Also lacking extra protection on the input and output lines. Polyfuses aren't THAT expensive, and they also don't take up much space, so I just don't understand why they're on included on the board from the factory.
As long as you don't need a really damn stable power source it does the job for cheap. Usable as a breadboard power supply, but just keep an eye on the voltage level with a multimeter
