This works just as intended. I have my Xbox 360 Slim in another room and use this cable to connect my Kinect. Haven't had any issues at all with it. maybe just for XBOX not for slim one in my case Does not work with My Xbox 360 slim and kinect I plug this extension cable and my kinect does not work, even the green light.
