I've tried about 10 different models from local shops, online, etc.
This particular model is the only one of TWO that I found that is able to separate the D-PAD inputs from the left and right analog sticks... of course all of the other buttons work, and if you use it on a ps3 Just press start+select for the PS button.
The other model that does the d-pad stuff properly is an adapter for the 360 which costs 150$ and isn't worth it
could have had a longer cord, but that is easily solved with a 1 dollar 3 foot long USB extender
I play alot of PSX and PS2 games on my PC (i7 running at 4GHZ), and this adapter lets me do that without any problems
Snap these up while you can, if you play alot of retro games on your pc this is the item to get
